John Aylett (1833-??)

As a bachelor aged 26 Carman of 23 New Inn Yard, Middx he married Maria Barker a spinster aged 22 Servant residing at 4 Hodge Place on 1st November 1859 at the Parish church [1859Q4 Shoreditch Vol: 1c, Page: 155]. John Aylett's father was given as John Aylett a Carman (deceased) and Maria Barker's father as Benjamin Barker a Carman. The witnesses were Richard Hunnell?, and Mary Ann Barker (possibly her mother?).

They had children:

Maria Barker died and John Aylett took a housekeeper to help with his young children. He married this lady in 1883: a widow Mary Ann Flexon [1883Q1 Bethnal Green Vol: 1c, Page: 177].
