William Holland (c1864-??) a bachelor (Solicitor's) Clerk aged 22 was married on 18th September 1886
[1886Q3 Stepney vol: 1c Page: 746] to
a spinster aged 25 at Stepney Parish church. The witnesses were James Rigg and Harriet Rigg
who were her brother and sister. His father is given as William Holland "Plate glass cutter".
His address was 10 Gold Street Stepney, and hers 128 Bromley Street Stepney.
They had two children:
Neither of these children, is known to have married or had children. The photo at the left is of the wedding of William and Eliza. The two photos below are later photos of their children Catherine and William J. Subsequent photos of the family omit William J and he does not appear in the 1901 census.

Next door (RG13/328 page: 5) at number 55 Malvern Road lived the unmarried Rigg uncles and aunts with cousin Lilie Rigg. Eliza Rigg and her daughter Katie are included in several of the photos of the aunts and uncles of my grandfather Alfred John (senior) Rigg (1889-1957). They later lived in Dover Road, Aldersbrook, S. Wanstead.
His parents were William Holland and ??.
Her parents were James Rigg (1816-1883) and Catherine McDonald (1827-1899).
William Holland was an uncle of my grandfather.
