James Rigg whose occupation was given at marriage as "Tailor" married Catherine McDonald (1827-1899) on 14th April 1846 at St George's, Middlesex, UK. The witnesses were Alexander McDonald and Mary Ann McDonald.

The same "John Rigg" but recorded as a hairdresser was the father of Robert Rigg (1819-1881) and grandfather of Eliza Rigg (1858-1883) who married Alexander William Rigg (1854-1925).

James Rigg was my great great grandfather.
